Z06 vs. ZR1 vs. '04 Cobra (700+rwhp)

That ZO6 MOVES THE FUCK OUT

Lighter weight + better powerband = ownage, apparently. I'm sure the Cobra needs a good amount of rpm to get that blower moving. Still walked a ZR1 though, so it aint no slouch. I wouldnt be surprised if that ZO6 was making more like 600+ rwhp.

I'll be lucky if I can ET the same as a bone stock Z06, let alone a ZR1 or big hp 03 Cobra.
 
I think the 4:10 gear in the cobra might have hurt it to. Idk seems it should have put up a better fight at 700+whp to 568hp IMO anyways. But z06=FTW!
 
What's wrong with the Cobra? He got the hit from the Z06 and still got beat.. YSi with 20 psi should make more than 700 rwhp?

It's a ford?? Lol maybe he should have went turbo. If it had that much money wrapped in that I'd be disappointed as hell.
 
That's an awesome video!

Makes me want a Z06 too. I've driven a few of the head cam Z's we've built and they will kill a tuned ZR1.

Here's a vid of a C6 Z we did that made 630 RWHP N/A and 729 RWHP with nitrous


and me driving a few cars that belong to a friend of mine. The ZR1 is quick, but no match for the Z06.

I believe he said it was 1 of 90 Scuds in the US for that model year. It's also somewhat unique since it doesn't have the distinctive Scud stripe.

When I had my Z06, I raced several Cobras and it seems like they all needed about 100-120 more rwhp just to be even, and about 150 more rwhp to actually win. The Z06's gearing + light weight + power band (7.0L) makes it a fierce opponent on the street. That car is geared perfectly to 160, imo. Great car! I miss mine.
 
That video isnt all too suprising. The gearing + weight + power of a Z is perfect for a roll. I was more suprised the ZR1 wasnt closer to the Z
