Yukon wiper blade linkage problems

I just installed a new wiper motor in my 94 Yukon. I had to un bolt the wiper linkage and swap out the mounting plate and the crank arm. My question is now how do i know where to turn the motor crank arm so that the blades will shut off in the park position? I hope i worded everything right. I seldom do any installs so help a brother out please.....

on newer cars i just leave the wipers arms off and hit the mist or wash button once so they cycle and park

I wish it was that easy. Its on and working but just looks ghetto fabolous with the wipers sticking straight up when i turn them off.

let them cycle then put the arms on.
i havent played with gm wipers though

thats all I ever do

let them cycle, install the linkage, cycle them again, make sure they only go up from park, then install the arms
