Picked this up last year and split it between a few buddys. We just wanted something to dick around on and ride up north from cabin to cabin. We have put a good amount of parts into it. This originally came with the roll cage but we took it off because it was hard to fit with it on, lol. Its rattle-canned black, originally red. The rattle can is starting to come off on some parts. It was just a quick and dirty job.
Has new- Throttle cable/bracket, chain, brake pedal, air filter, and tires.. The drive tire is worn from doing burnouts and drifts. Still has a lot of life left though.
The engine is a 6.5HP Tecumseh. We've changed the oil a few times and its been dead solid reliable. The cart does 33MPH with a 150lb rider. You cannot blow this engine up. There was days when 4-5 of us would ride this thing for hours at wide open throttle, never had an issue overheating or not starting. Starts first pull every single time.
Right now it has slicks up front, and the aggressive tread in the back. In handles like its on rails, we didn't want to put slicks in the back because I had a feeling it would turn too sharp and flip. Plus it drifts pretty nice with the knobbies on the back. :sagrin:
This would be something relatively cheap and fun for your kids or a pit vehicle. I promise if we haven't broke it, you will not break it. :lol: You can drive it on road, or offroad, it doesn't matter. Though with no suspension driving it off road is a quick trip to the chiropractor. :thumbsup:Would be sweet with a new paint job, we didn't really care which is why its rattle canned black. I'll clean it up a bit if you decide to come look it at.
Reason for selling- I don't have room for it with the Mustang in the garage now and I don't want it to sit outside all winter.
