I believe this 4l60E will only work for 93-94's with the Vin W CPI 4.3. It came out of a 1993 (square body) S10 Blazer with the floor shifted transfer case and Vin W 4.3 CPI Vortec. I purchased it back in '05 from a neighbors wrecked Blazer (if I recall it had about 115k on it but don't quote me on that). I bought it to put into my 94 S10 Pickup (round body) with the same engine thinking the previous j/y trans wouldn't last, well it did all the way till I sold the truck with 292k on it. So, now I have this trans that I don't need, and can't use but I do need a 2wd TH-350 with the Chevy bell. I can probably make a long or short tail one work.

This trans has been stored inside since I purchased it and has just been sitting around but I've never personally used it. All I know is that I personally pulled it out of the wrecked Blazer. It does have the converter with it as well.

On a long shot I would also trade for a 2wd 4L60E that would work behind a 1996 Vortec V8. I believe Rich from Detroit Gearbox said that one would have to be a 96 or 97.

If there is any interest on the one I have I'll get pics.

I'm outside of Elsie and you can get ahold of me either via pm or at 989-525-3256.

Thanks, Chris

I saw that, that's what reminded me to get rid of this thing for one I need, LOL. I can't cough up the $ though, hence the trade (not for yours obviously). Great deal on that one you've got btw and I would love to get my hands on it!

I've also got another 700r4 that needs work but still somewhat works, and a complete core 700r4, and a broken 4L60E from another truck, a th-350 with good guts and a broken bell, and a good th-350 case and guts though ;-)

Thanks

Bump, got a good 93-94 4L60E, and many "cores" (see above) and need either a 96-97 4L60E or a th-350, both 2wd, don't need to be anything great, other than working.

Congrats on selling yours so quick Stroked!
