He just almost gave up a 3 run homer......would have made the game interesting!!!! He'll get it though....he's one of the best closers in the game! And I know I'm gonna get flamed for that comment but just look at the stats! I know he's no Bobby Jenks, but he's still good!

Just once I would like a 1-2-3 9th inning from Jones....that's all. Looks like this race will come down to the wire.
 
I think the most reliable reliever lately has been Fernando Rodney....I never thought I'd say that, because I absolute HATE Rodney, but he has been lights out since he has come back from the DL. He even hit 98 mph tonight. Before his stint on the DL with a "mystery injury", he was barely even sniffing 90mph......

obviously you don't watch too many games, he has only blown a couple of saves and has had many 1-2-3 innings recently. He is one of the best closers in the game today.
 
I just got home form Cleveland. What a great game. There were a lot of Detroit fans there!

Jones certainly makes it interesting!

I just hope they can build on this win and win the central.
