Why is it celebrated that little girls are dressed and dancing like this ? :
It personally creeps me out.

saw this on the news last night. A little outrageous for second graders. Dont get me wrong they are talented as hell, but would of been more suited dancing ballet or something.

agreed ...

whats the next step? ..... this whole trend is getting younger and younger . there should be a cell next to the rapist for the mom/dad that wants her 6789 yr old act like shes fuckin ...wearing next to nothin ..... in front of a crowd of adults !!

and i have a 10 yr old daughter ... id get a charge smackin the wife if i saw her allow something like this ... and feel pretty good about it .

Those girls have talent, but the clothing choice is nothing short of trashy. Stupid parents for sure.

It sickens me to see some of the clothes on the racks for girls as young as 2-3 years old on up. Scary chit for sure.

Brian, I completely agree with you. But from a strictly moral standpoint, if its wrong for them to do this at this age, it ought to be viewed as wrong for them to do this at any age.

I'm not talking about what is "socially acceptable." If its just a social acceptability matter, then I would tell you to "get with the times" you old, fuddy-duddy, which is exactly what parents who let their girls do this would say to you.

Hopefully someone saw the light

The girls' parents defended their daughters' performance at the World of Dance, billed as the largest U.S. urban dance competition, saying their daughters' moves and outfits were appropriate for competition.

"This is taken completely out of context," Cory Miller, father of one of the girls, told "Good Morning America" today. "The girls weren't meant to be viewed by millions of people."

Viewed by millions or people or 5 people, often parents of these little girls in dance, pageant and other 'competitions' have a twisted view on reality. Sad really.
