WTB: Wrecked/Totaled 03-04 SVT Cobra "Terminator"

As the title says... I'm looking for wrecked examples of 03-04 Terminator Mustangs. If you can point me in the right direction and I buy it, I'll take you out to dinner. :lol:

I'M NOT INTERESTED IN COMPLETE/UNDAMAGED COBRAS, EVEN IF YOU FEEL IT'S A "GOOD DEAL"!

I'LL ALSO CONSIDER MACH 1's, 99-01 COBRA's, and 99-04 GT's if the price is right.

Here's what I need:
  • Cheaper the better! So basically, the more fucked the car is overall, the more I'd want it. Cash in hand for the right car at the right price.
  • Must have a complete driveline, harness and interior. (Prefer undamaged suspension, subframe, IRS). Condition and mileage of the engine doesn't matter.
  • Title doesn't matter (Scrap, Salvage, Clear, Lost), as long as I get some form of paperwork that the car isn't stolen.
  • Prefer rear-ended or side-impact cars, though I'll look at everything.
  • Must be in Michigan/Ohio/Indiana. The only way I'll travel is if it's a ridiculous low price worth the time/money to drive out and trailer it home.

May I ask what the project is for? Have you tried looking at places like copart or ebay?

Edit: just looked at copart and they dont have any termies.
 
I have a fairly-clean hardtop Terminator shell sitting around. I have no use for it, don't really feel like selling it, and think it would be a fun project for the winter. Considering how much my shell is missing, it would be too expensive/time-consuming to piece it together... I'd much rather just have a complete car with all the little bits and pieces.

I checked ebay, nothing. Copart is also dry. IAAI has one going up this week in Tucson, AZ but it's definitely "repairable". I need closer and cheaper.

Might try getting in contact with the guy that just totaled his 02GT. Really didn't look that bad.

It was a new edge, could have sworn it wasn't... oh well. Don't think he has anything left though. It's been almost a year.

EDIT- He had it as of a few weeks ago. What he's asking is kinda steep considering the interior is picked over now, but I'll wait and see what he says if he still has it.

No pictures off hand. It's a RedFire car that's rust free and dirty as all hell. Squirrels set up shop in the trunk, and there's a bunch of acorns and shit I need to clean out now.

Interior is gone (mostly in my car actually). the drivetrain is all their though

Is the interior completely bare, or did you just get the seats out of it?

Matt still hasn't got back to me, but I believe his asking $5500-6500 for basically just the driveline and harness is out of line, regardless of if it's got a blower... that's totaled Terminator territory. And a smashed Termi will probably come with a complete interior if I find one at auction.

seats and dash are out of it. might still have carpet and such but i dunno. matt is probably a flexible on the price if you were serious. the car was fast when it ran.
 
if you're looking for a fun project why not just get a 5.4 and build that? Could be cheaper? Would definitely be fun

Drop-in, plug-and-play everything seems like a better idea... considering my shell right now doesn't have a harness or front subframe/suspension, etc., it would just be easier to transfer everything over from another car. Plus, the blown 4.6L is quite enough fun, I really, really miss the 03 'vert I had in the spring. :(
