I am looking for an AC/DC tig welder for steel and aluminum work. The units I am currently looking at are the Miller Syncrowave 250/300 or Lincoln equivalent. Liquid cooled is a plus. If you have something, please shoot me a PM or reply here.

A guy I work with is looking to sell a Miller Shopmaster 300. It's a multiprocess machine, and it comes with everything to do tig, mig, and stick. The tig torch is water cooled. He bought it new in 2001 I believe. Another guy at work is looking at buying it off of him, but I can talk to them to see if that's fallen through or not.
If you could let me know, that would be cool. I stopped by a couple of sales places on the way home, and they are trying to convince me to go with the Lincoln Precision 225 or Miller Syncrowave 200. Do you have any experience with those?

His setup would cost more than those welders, but it comes ready to weld with everything for three processes. I think he wants 3k.
We have a synchrowave 350 at work, and its a pretty sweet machine. I've got a miller dynasty 200dx that is awesome. I don't have any experience with the lincoln precision machines.
I've got a MILLER synchrowave 250 works great. Lincolns are nice pieces also, 3k? water cooled torches love em if the other set up comes with spool gun for aluminum and whatever acc's maybe make an offer. worst thing he could say is no.
