Need at least 100, more like 150 with backing plates.

If you have some used ones laying around or extra's, let me know.

I have tires with ice screws , but I'd like a set for drag racing.

OR anyone know where i can pick them up kinda cheap?

The way the winter is going you may be better off putting some paddles on it so you can skim the water, I think Ice is a ways out still. Gonna be on the Bay with that thing? We have a few projects going together around town right now we plan on bein down there with.

HAHA i actually have an old set of skat trak haulers that I used in the snow last year when it got deep. It didn't work to well as the front was more a plow than steering.

I always wanted to try a set of Ice Picks in the tires. i guess they are a PITA to set up (drill hole in tire, put through, add caulk, tighten down) and actually have a decent grid. I have the Cheng Shin ice tires with 2/lug in the middle 2 lugs and 1/lug everywhere else. Works great on a track with turns but for drag races, they just spin through all 6 gears.

I had a similiar setup last year with the Cheng Shin ice tires and had the same issue with traction. Extended swingarms are a bitch when it comes to that. The pattern is definitly key to get the traction down with the pics, I've heard lots of guys that run a layer of thin carpet inside the tire to help hold the picks in so they dont rip thru the tire also. Never done it myself but heard it from a couple people.

Carpet is used when the tires have tubes in them. also when setting up picks and etc. try to avoid having then inline with each other any where on the tire.

it is believed that, if two picks run the same track one will become in effective. ( First stud already dug a trench, next in line has nothing to bite to) if that makes sense. the least amount of studs in line with other studs better you will hook, each stud is biting fresh ice.

I got a guy whos got 180 ice picks for sale. If you interested hes also got like 250 studs with backers for like 250-300$
