Looking for something to rebuild this winter for next summer.

Must have:

4 Doors.
under 100k, lower the better

I have recently started liking the idea of a '11 or newer Charger or 300 with a hemi.

I can score some pretty serious deals.. eg

2011 focus 31k miles needs engine 2800
2010 focus 80k miles needs engine 1900
2010 tahoe 2wd 78k miles 5200 after fees needed a fender and 1/4 bumped
and the latest
2012 merc s550 white/mint needs engine 12.5k

Ive been able to pick up current chargers for sub 4k ill deff keep an eye out for ya. My dealer hook up takes a few 100 for the transfer.

Those hemi cars only pay something like 7.8 hours to swap one.

Would you rather have hit or mechanical problems?

Well I work in a body shop, but have either enough skills or know someone that does to do a motor swap. I think a motor problem would be easier to fix, but either or would work.

I am looking for a nice daily driver, not really looking for a street racer/track car/money pit/ although I wish I had the money for one. lol.

Thanks fellas.

When you say needs engine, do you mean thats all it needs? As in no other damage, physically or mechanically? Are they salvage title or repairable title? Very interesting.

This was the most recent, nothing wrong with it 107k miles its was $6400 i think maybe $6700 i dont remember. Retired msp.. if you get them out of state you can get white and black ones.

The motor for the s550 is about 8k on ebay. That would be a deal for 2012 s550.

A friend of mine has a lot with all bmw/merc/audi/vw parts. If the engine wasnt lined up before the purchase the risk woulda been to high. The s550 was a "flood" car but the int was clean we assumed someone drove it into a puddle and knocked a rod out of it. Auctions will put a bad hanging from the mirror that fills with water, keep an eye out for those.

Have a 2001 yukon denali that needs some work.
Would like to get $2000 for it.
Has front end body damage, and a few other things that need work. Motor and trans work fine. 130,000 miles.
Clear title, can still be a nice ride if somebody puts some time and money into it.

Your PM box is full.

Could you please PM me the name & contact phone
number for that MSP blue Tahoe?

Do you know what year it is? Was it a repaired truck?

Thank you.

Its been bought and sold already. It was a 2010 with the better trans and mpg. Nothin was "wrong" with it, it was just at the auction. Needed to be cleaned up and had a trim peice on the inside missing.. you shoulda saw all the 2008+ 4x4 suburbans go though with joey boxes and such all sub $10k all day.

What auction are you going to? I have sat and watch copart and IAAI to no avail. No deals in Michigan it seems.
