Needed: Daily Driver for my Grandma, She totaled her car ( yeah I know LOL old people drivin ). I was looking for ideas for a different and affordable car for her. If anyone has any ideas please let me know! Thanks.

Thanks I'll keep that truck in mind she's still in the hospital. My family and I have to figure out what we're going to do about a car for her when she gets home, sometime this week. I know that none of us really have the time to do more than check in on her, it sucks but it's the truth. Thanks for the help!
 
go with a 91-95 escort... you cant go wrong..... 30+mpg, and all u gotta do is change the oil...... thats it..... mine is a 5speed, they are better than autos if she can drive manual....thats the way to go.... good place is the local paper, or craigslist.....
 
I have a 96 Taurus with a new engine, new water pump,new belt, new front brakes,new battery,new plugs wires and the tires were replaced not long ago. Car is mechanically sound looks good to.



car has 129k on it engine has less than 10 on engine
