My buddy told me yesterday that he did a search for. 223 ammo and out of 313 sources, 312 were listed as "out of stock". Can this be true?

Yeah, it's out everywhere since the CT shooting. People are idiots. There's no reason to panic buy. I can't believe people actually pony up $.75 a round for .223/5.56.

Ive noticed that, I guess I picked a bad time to get back into shooting. There's no way I'm gonna shoot with these things at over 50 cents a round. Hopefully the priced do come back down.

Thats more like it, I'll check it out. I suppose I could wait, but according to alot of the ammo sites it shows alot backordered until summer-ish. You think it will take that long? That's quite hard to believe

I just did a real quick check and saw 1k rounds on AR15 for $400. So .40 per round.

You just have to have cash in hand and camp on there a little bit. It goes quick when it's priced fairly.

Yeah, I believe it. The government has been buying a shit ton as of late.

Rifle makers like Stag are back ordered a year, no longer taking orders. So yes, I could see this lasting into mid summer. Unless, of course, the bill gets voted down before then.

Yeah you were gouged.. The same magazines normally sell for 10-12 bucks each if people aren't panic buying.

lol yes my dad is down here and he has Nev ered fired a AR so i bought a box for him.

went to that store today they had PMC ammo for 24$ a box lol and two ARs one colt for 2150 and a DPMs for 1450$ both used with two mags.
