kinda off topic but speaking of uncommon colors I saw a GOLD 4th gen Firebird on mound yesterday and a Bright Green (not Forest Green) 4th Gen SS the other week.

Yup. It's Maple Red Metallic. You could get that color on a Firebird, Formula or T/A but not a Firehawk or WS6. Obviously it's a WS6 conversion. It's too bad they put that nasty spoiler and wheels on that car. That is actually my favorite color combination for those cars. :dontknow:

Bingo. I should have clarified, you can't get that color in a Ram Air, Firehawk, or Camaro SS. Unfortunate, because that color would look really good on those models. Not sure why GM does stupid shit like that. I think maple red/tan is an awesome combo. Very classy. But that car is ghetto looking.

LS1 Camaro's were Monterey Maroon Metallic like mine. As you said, not availible on the SS but it is definitely a different color then the Maple Red Metallic that was on the Pontiac's. I'm not sure what the maroon color was on the LT1 Camaro's like Nick's but it is also different than the LS1 Maroon Camaro color.
