Wow....

When I was a kid, I was playing a guitar and my buddy was playing drums in my garage. We were just learning to play, so...we didnt sound very good. We heard something outside of the garage and went out to have a look around. When we got outside we notice that these two neighbor girls (whom liked us...ya and we liked them) were on top of the fence returning to their yard from spying on us. We were very embarrassed! Well they didnt notice us so...... I kick a my basket ball only to try to hit the fence and scare them. Well...it took air and hit the girl that I liked in the face and knocked her off the top of the fence...LOL I felt pretty stupid!:chairfall

Maybe I'll catch shit if I post up the clip, which aired on NATIONAL TV, where the little kid is running down the sidelines at a basketball game and gets taken out by a last second, cross-court shot. :dontknow:

I'm sorry some people suffer from the over-protective "Daddy's Little Girl" syndrome. Great job sheltering your child. If they're lucky, maybe they'll eventually learn to be independent and not have to rely on daddy for protection. I'm not saying you can't be sympathetic. But the lesson here is two-fold...

1) The girls parents shouldn't have let her near an adult game of soccer where she could get hurt.

2) She now knows, "if I play with the big boys, I can get hurt."
