woodward or telegraph tonight???

just wondering telegraph or woodward tonight, i hate to go to one an be boring this is my frist night out with out phones or have to work, just want to see some races an
cruising an some fun???????
 
Well tonight was my second Friday night out with my family hitting up Woodward.

Did our typical grab our ice cream and go park in the potbellys lot, we have always park in the same spot over by wall between the bank & vitamin store.
Not a single car in the lot except for just a few parked in front of potbellys, so I back up the magnum and pop open the hatch and have my girls sitting in the back. Finally a completely blacked out lowered trailblazer SS rolled up a few mins later a red cobalt SS parks as well and they stay in their rides.

At this point I mention to my wife that I've read on Motown how the cops have been pretty strict and we will most likely get kicked outta the lot. We are parked with the hatch open for about 40mins when a cop rolls up and parks and asks us all if we have come to woodward before and to quote the cop he proceeds to tell up "we now have power of attorney over this lot" and he can have us towed ect so I just said ok and walked back and said let's go girls.

The shell was filled up but even their lot wasn't packed like it would have been last super on a nice Friday night so close to then dream cruise. So we took off and did a few laps between maple & 13 just to see any other cars and some ppl here and there in 2-4 car groups parked all over.

I am really bummed and not about the potbellys lot at all but it was very slim when it came to cars even doing laps and cruising.

FYI - if that trailblazer SS is on here or anyone knows him with the plate LS2PRWD it sounded badass
 
I'm not sure what time you're out on Woodward tonight, but we were out between 8:00 and 9:15 and saw at least three Vipers, a bunch of Vettes, two Ferrari 458s (as well as others), and two Lambos. There seemed to be a lot of people sitting around as well.
 
50's McDonalds had a constantly changing lot of cars. Bow down to the teal Studebaker pro street truck that made a LOT of noise.

Telegraph was being shut down at 11:30. N bound traffic was being detoured onto warren rd just as I was making my first lap.

I was on woodward from 6:45-7:45 which I know is a bit earlier but the last 3 summers it would of already been pretty busy.
 
I was out on WW last night. Got there around 9:30 and stayed til about midnight. I parked in the Shell lot and surprisingly there were a lot of open spots there when it's usually packed and hard to get in to. There were some nice cars out but def. not as busy as it usually is, maybe I should have gone to Telegraph instead. Also saw UW1N cruise through the art van/funeral home parking lot, sick ride!
