Wondering about a price for a Monty Carlo

A family friend has a mid to late 90's Monty Carlo with only 8000 original miles on it. She is thinking about traden it in at a dealership. I figured a car of that year with such low mileage on it would probably be worth trying to sell privately wright? I think it is a 1996

Yea i was thinking $4500 myself, They want to give her like $2500 or it at some dealer he took it to.

If it is a 96 they had all kinds of electrical problems, they even had a recall for the plug wires! ( my mom had one). That might be why they are so low :dontknow:

Cars with low miles are usually less dependable than cars with higher miles. Lots of stuff to go wrong from sitting so much.

I have been trying to get ahold of her but she is once again in the hospital. That is the main reason the car has so few miles, She has major medical issues and doesn't get to drive much. Once i get more info on the car i will post it up.
