Ok, 2003 escalade esv someone cut the harness connection to the 6disc changer. Now I got a pigtail/connector to the changed from a 01 denali. It plugs into the changer but the stock harness and the denali pigtail have a cpl different color wires. I thought the wires were gonna be the same since it plugs into the changer but I waswrong. Googled it and really got nothing, can anyone point me in the right direction for info. If its gonna be alote of $$ to make it work then ill just buy the compartment kit for it. But would likeit since my stock cd player don't work either, still trying to find out some info on my other post about the stock cd player to stock screen swap. Thanks fellaz

Pin | 2001 pigtail | 2003 Harness
7 | Pink | Not used
8 | Gray | Brown/white
9 | Bare | Not used
10 | Dark Green/White | Dark Green/White
11 | Brown/White | Brown/White
12 | Blue/White | Blue/White
13 | Black | Black/White
14 | Dark Green | Tan
15 | Orange | Orange

Let me know if it looks right.

Just did it and nothing, left the pink alone along with the bare wire there is a 2 blk/whites left from the 01&03 harness. Tried hooking up the left over Blake and whites, nothing. Hooked up the bare wires, nothing, hmmmmm

Try calling metra electronics tech support, alot of the times those guys have wiring schematics for audio related stuff even if its not directly related to parts they sell and can fax them to you
 
FML, this truck don't have a manual so I can find out if the fuse blew. Anyone hook me up with a link to find the whole fuse panel diagram. I googled it but can't find the correct link.

just check and see if the wire has power with a test light
