In our basement, I'm trying to slave our flat screen by the bar from the main DVR/main tv in the basement, but there is a mountain of ductwork (partially dry walled ceiling) and it's proving a significant challenge to feed a 60' long HDMI cable to it from an HDMI splitter. At this point, I'm leaning toward just getting an wireless transmitter/receiver and avoiding the bullshit drywall repair necessary if I keep cutting more out just to find a void between the ductwork where the HDMI cable can be routed.
Any particular suggestions on brand of wireless components to use/not use/etc.? Bear in mind, the only time the bar flat screen tv will be on will be if there is a game or we are watching something on both tvs simultaneously. So I'm concerned with delayed signal/delayed sound as well. And given its limited use, I don't really want to pay $9.99 per month for an extra HD receiver on a tv that will be played a couple times a year.
It's about 35' away from the main tv/dvr and it's line of sight (no obstructions).
Thanks in advance.
