Winter Toys

1996MONTESS' Ski Doo thread got me thinking. What do you guys play around with in the winter besides wrenching on your summer toys? Specifically snowmobies/skis/snowboards...

Mine - 2000 Polaris XC600SP - 144 studs, Low profile windsheild, Full length skid plate, grip rails for my feet, and UNI air filter

Also have a Burton snowboard, bindings, and Vans boots. You can catch me weekly at Caberfea, Boyne, and Crystal Mt.

My Brother has the 700 XC, those polaris twins pull hard for being out of the box... I owned 2 Polaris's and still loved my Ski-doo better...

Nice Sled Tom - Looks like you got some SWEET Air....:icon_mrgr

Dude, when was that..... You looked messed up and the gallery does not look amused with your situation!!!

June 2002, I was in a motocross accident at Baja MX in Burch Run. I grew up racing motorcross and never had a broken bone until I busted my back. Came over a Step down jump on the front straight away. A guy crashed on the landing because it was a bit muddy. I never even touched the ground. Went right into the back of his bike, tossed off, and landed on my head/shoulder at the same time. I was actually air lifted from the track to Hurly in Flint. I don't remember the entire month of July that year. I'm sure someone from this board had to be there or hear about it. In 2001 I ended up 2nd place inthe D-14 125B class.

Its gonna be hard to find new boots this year. I was looking last year and didnt really see any boots made for the old switch step ins. I need a size 13 with the metal lock in piece in the board. Might have to find some online.

If you're up at Boyne, Crystal, Caberfea one weekend lemme know. I'm always looking to meet new people and have a great time. What kind of set up ya got? I've got a set of Rossenol 170cm Edge Skis, Rossenol (forgot the model) bindings, Scott Poles, and K2 boots. I skiied ages 4-18, then I came to college and picked up snowboarding.

Atomic Skiis and Bindings, shitty poles, and Salomon Boots. I let you know whenever i head out this winter. Dont know to many people that ski.

at my families cabin in oscoda, we go up there every year for new years and take normaly 10 or so sleds our cabin is on cedar lake its long and freezes very flat and smooth :) plus theres some trails and stuff up there too. the cabin sleeps 22 people in beds :)

98 Polaris Trail 500 fan cooled and 96 Polaris XLT 600 triple. Niether are studded yet, but after my incident in Tom's (GrandmaLS) back yard involving a frozen pond, 3/4" of snow, and a 4 inch ash tree, they just may both get them.
