Winter storage.

Packing my project car away for the winter and wanted to see if anyone could share there method. This is my first car that runs on race fuel and wasn't sure of the corrosive properties it has. If I leave fuel in the lines and carb will it be a problem in the spring? Also what do you guys do for your suspension? Wasn't sure if I should take some weight off of it or just leave it how it sits? Thanks in advance.

If the fuel cell, main lines, and such are steel or aluminum and can be air tight within the system, I'd top it off and store it without much concern over winter. Jack stands with protective rubber boots placed under the axle on each side and up front under the frame tie in section is a safe bet.

It's all stainless braided lines. The cell has a looped piece of hose for a vent so unless I take that off and cap the fitting on the cell it would not be air tight.

Fill it up & cap the vent, should be set for winter.
Assuming by race fuel, you're referring to 110 Leaded?
