Windows computers suck

Geee, we've never heard the Windows suck get a Mac argument before.

Windoze may suck balls, but where else can you find the firing order of your 56 Desoto with a Hemi in 30 seconds? Where else can you find a computer for $250 so you can see all of the porn you want? Of course you can always buy a Mac for 5x that, but you'll see the same porn on the same websites....Too many people have been drinking the Mac koolaid for too long. They have you snowed.

Until you, or someone wants to invest a billion or more in something completely new it is all we have for now. Then you'll have to get all of the software developers to make programs for your new computers. Ask Linux people how easy that is...

Remember, you'll be still be accessing the same web for the same porn, though. You'll be a lot further ahead if you learn how to work with Windoze or find a better web browser...

It really isn't that difficult. OSX and Linux are very similar under the hood and a lot of software will work on both as long as there aren't any proprietary elements involved on behalf of OSX. As long as the source code is available, I can compile binaries for OSX on my Linux computers and install them, and vice versa. I use a Linux distro (usually Debian) for about 90% of my needs, but I wouldn't say it's for everybody. I do what I want with my operating system, not what some company will let me do. Linux distros are free and open source software. Free software gives you the freedom to share, study and modify it. It is called free software because the user is free. To use free software is to make a choice asserting the right to learn and share what we learn with others.

Not that difficult for you and other IT people. All I am saying is that Windows runs all of the software I am required to use and does a pretty good job. The reason we've never tried it with Linux is because no one wants to get it to work on a Linux machine and why bother with running a virtual machine when you still need Windows anyway?

I was working at a company with 150,000 global employees and 99% of the computers ran Windows of some sort. 50% of the US employees are programmers and know all about writing code. If there was something better than Windows, the company would have written their own code to run our software, like AutoCAD.

Sorry, total troll comment on my part. LOL When a thread title says "Windows computer suck" well I just have to put in a jab. I'm lucky enough to be using Macs and have relied on them professionally for almost 20 years. My machine of choice. Windows are nice too :)

If you need Windows, then use Windows. I use it myself, but only for gaming. My day to day stuff is done on Linux.
