Window Blinds...

Anyone on here do them? Need to start construction on the house again and this is one of the things on the list...

If nobody does them on here... Any recommendations??

We had several places give us quotes on blinds and some we so ridiculous, thousands per window. Ended up using Lowes of you have them come out and measure you're not responsible for anything. You can return special order items! There prices were great and they have of styles/manufacturers to choose from. We're very happy with our blinds. They get raised and lowered every day and no issues in the past 1.5 years. Of they measure your locked in at the lowest price available. Like a 4th of July sale even if they install in December. I don't recall the fee to measure but it goes towards your order.

We did online, PITA to measure them all but spent $800-1000 to do the house versus $3K+ if we paid someone to come in. We needed that $2K elsewhere at the time. Maybe a couple came from a Hudson's sale. Do a couple rooms a nite and it's really not that bad. Money left over for more guns:naughty1:

We measured all our windows and ordered Levolor stuff from Home Depot. They shipped it right to the house. The install was very straight forward, took me a couple nights after work to put them all up. Saved a bunch of money this way.

i did the same thing. did my whole house in less than 2 nights. i just did some faux wood ones that were very easy to install

I used Lowe's as well this last time and it worked great.

We opted to measure and install to save money.
