looking at going to an SN95 or new edge from my notch and swapping everything over. will my fox AJE k member swap into the newer body style? same with steering? control arms, etc?

I checked my software for the k member, steering rack, and control arms and it says they aren't a direct fit.

Correct, Fox track width is narrower.

Rear suspension is basically the same but the chassis bolts changed from 12mm to 14mm in the LCA's.

That doesnt bother me too much. I already run 96-04 Front Knuckles which make my front track width the same. My question though is whether the bolt holes will physically line up when bolting up the K member, or if I will need to get a new one. Next big question is whether my Strange front struts will work as well.

And like Darko said, theyre not interchangable, but I wonder if that is due to steering location and the fact that the geometry is different. I cant see them actually moving holes though, because I know people have swapped newer stuff into foxes...gotta figure out if it goes the other way though

I havent even purchased LCA's yet out back, so thats a positive.

AJE k member is the same and will bolt in

I don't remember if the a-arms were a different length or not (I used UPR tubulars)

For the rear control arms I used Team z lowers and relocated uppers and everything bolted in

Front struts from a fox are 1.5" shorter. all the mounting points are the same though. Lowered my 03 2" and switched to a fox strut because the factory ones would bottom out on big bumps.

Ill give it a shot and see what happens.

How about the steering rack? Ive got a manual flaming river rack on my fix Id love to put on the 2000, but I know they use different tie rods, is it just the threads that are different? Can I just unscrew the tierods a bit and run it?

A fox kmember will fit a 94-04 you just have to slot one of the holes on each side.
Control arms are 1" shorter. I think fox control arms are 12" and sn95's are 13".
I run fox length control arms on my 04 with a fox steering rack, flaming river 94-04 steering shaft and 94-04 Strange struts. works perfect.

Hope that helps

Thanks Frank, thats the kind of Info I needed! With the shorter control arms did you have to also run camber plates up top? any issues with camber being too positive? Id love to be able to run my fox manual rack also. what tie rod ends did you use?

I have the Maximum Motorsports caster camber plates for 94-04. One thing I forgot to add was I used fox Racecraft 2" drop spindles. I did have stock fox spindles on it for mock up before I bought the Racecrafts and everything seemed to fit good with them. The Tie rod ends (bump steer kit) is PA Racing for a fox.
