wild willys 86 notchback coupe

wife bought me a 86 coupe to do my first drag car (and me at 49). going to go small to start just to get it on the track, slightly modified 302, 3200 stall speed, c-4 trans, 8.8 with 4.10 gears an spool, 8 point roll cage, an 28x10 slicks. car will be gutted an as light as i can get it, hoping to go 7.50 in 1/8 . any suggestions will be a help also anyone that has a notchback if you can post pictures of your cage an its mounting points. thanks
 
i havent done much besides start gutting the inside , pull motor an trans (was a 4 banger) an pull 1 door. had to push it outside an snow fell inside, as soon as snow melts will get it back in.
 
When you post....Scroll down further and you will see "Manage Attatchments"....after that you will have to find your pictures by browsing your files then upload and post
 
several people told me today i needed a 4.56 gear being what i plan to do to it . it will not see 1/4 this year and i will be driving car at end of 1/8 instead of shifting. motor will shift at 6000 what do you all think?
 
Willie, I've got a set of inner/ outer rocker panels if you want them. I bought a complete pan from a guy and won't be needing them. FREE if you want them. Won't be cutting them off for awhile yet though. Lemme know before I throw them away. They aren't perfect, but they would be good for patch material.
