I have a history with this bike. Back in the Early 70's My fathers friend Pat Daily Bought the Bike From E.J.
Pat owned Daisy Plastics in Canton. It backed up to Metatal airport. He produced Disc craft frizbys. Pat had a HUGE collection of old willys gassers. he even had a stock 34 willys with only 25k on the clock!
He also had a Red 69 toyota picup called Hari Kari. It had a 375ci John Mazimainan built small block with a GMC 8-71 and a 2 pot hilborn fuel injection set up. total gasser........ straight axle and ladderbars.............VERY COOL TRUCK.........
Anyways, the widowmaker sat in the corner and I used to sit on it every now and then as a kid. When hard times hit Pat a few years ago, he sold the bike to keep his buisness going a little longer. Pat passed away about 3 months ago.

A friend of mine (Nancy Wolfe) just called on the bike today (If you know Nancy you know her love of fast drag bikes
) She said the guy treated her like dirt. He wont let her see the bike. Nany said they guy wont take a penny less than 65k Sad to see that the guy wasent interested in saving a piece of history He just wants to profit from E.J.'s Death. Looks like he waited till E.J's story dropped in Hot Rod magazine to sell the bike for a large profit. oh well........his bike.......
