Who makes the best spray on undercoating?

I have a 99 Jeep Cherokee that was never rust proofed or undercoated. The bottom is clean now. But is only a matter of time before it starts rusting. I am thinking about buying 10 cans of the undercoating and going to town under the Jeep. Does the can stuff work as good as Ziebart's? Anyone use this and have a favorite brand when it comes to thickness and running.

Honestly, I would never undercoat any vehicle I planned on keeping.

I used to spray for Auto One years back. All that stuff does is makes a mess of the undercarriage and trap moisture by blocking drain holes, etc.

If your 99 isn't rusting by now, keeping it up like you have is the best defense against rust. Just keep the chassis clean :D

I spray my undercarriage once a week or so during the salt season and my 2000 GMC looks pretty good.

i used truck spray on bedliner before, it worked out cool stuffs tuff as crap and doesnt get all over your hands when you need to do some work to it

Undercoat is not going to stop surface rust at all!!!
Surface rust is cause by something that was on the body before the paint....oil,dirt,water...Bad surface metal prepping or a rock chip.

If you add a under coat all you will accomplish will be some sound deadening!

best thing is to buzz it off, wipe it with some zinkox prepsol, tag some doe on it , zink prime, block sand and spot some color on it.

OR you could buy one of those gizmos that connect to your battery that eletroshocks rust. I worked on a 1981 Ford E-250 that had 10,000K on it that looked brand new inside & out & was stored out side all it life. It had one of these gizmos on it.
