well, I would ideally like to keep the same brake setup if possible. I know I could just take the cobra wheels on it and have em narrowed. But I was looking to see if someone made a lightweight option. The alumastar 2.0s would be perfect, although I kinda wanted to have matching wider rears, but they no longer make themYou can clear your brakes without using a 17" wheel/tire combo ($$$$). Or do you simply want to run a 17" setup??

billet specalties makes a 17 im pretty sure.
15s that will clear 13" brakes?Keeping the brakes is not a problem.
So do you simply want to run a 17" or are 16"/15" OK. If your only concern is matching front and rears then your options are next to nothing with the 17", because as you mention even the Alumastar doesn't have a great match for the rear, and they are almost $600/wheel. Maybe you can find a set of (front and rear) Greg Welds, those are 17".
16" you can do a Bogart, and they will weld the spacer right onto the wheel, 15" there are a bunch of options.

Ya but it is not a "front runner", more just a set of street wheels.

joe to run a 15 you basiclly just need a 1" spacer correct?

yah I edited the post, I coulda swore they made a 17x4 guess not.
I never understood this. The 2.0 are FUCKING BEAUTIFUL wheels, but they quit making them. There is a trunk car in the latest 5.0 or MM&FF with fronts and rears and it looks simply amazing.
yep, dumbasses. id totally shell out the 600 a pop for them if they made a matching set, but im not gonna pay 1200 for 2 wheels that dont match the rearsI never understood this. Doesn't Chris Hansen on here have a pair of 17s on his camaro?
yeah, the problem with my setup is that I already use the 96+ steering knuckles, which stick out farther than stock. Id look like a mexican lowrider if I used a 1" spacer.Race Star or Greg Welds

Matt,
I ran 1" hub centric spacer for a set 15" Prostars on those brakes. It will clear but will stick out a little bit...
