I just picked up a 96 GT that has this supercharger on it and I can't find any tag that id's it. Anyone have a clue? Powerdyne maybe?

Thanks

It looks like a powerdyne, but FMS also sold powerdyne superchargers with their brand name on it, so it might be one of those. Still a powerdyne though.

What's it worth? (I've heard that they suck.)

I think they blow, hence the term blower....
I don't think they are bad, but the internals are belt driven and from what I recall the belts seems to stretch, or fail somehow. They were 6 and 9 psi units.

Yeah, Not the best out there but they sold a ton of them. Durability problems plagued the original internal drive belts. I know you could send it in for upgrade/ repair and I believe the new belt was better than the original one. My buddy had one on his FOX and it ran OK for what it was. I would leave it on for shits/ giggles. If you try to sell it you won't get anything for it. Maybe it'll be worth something in 20 years when someone wants to do a period correct resto on their FOX- LOL.
