Whipple Supercharged Ford GTX1 on the Dyno

This guy Rick that owns the car is a cool cat. He's got a Tungsten GT also, which is being finished out here as a GTX1 now that Genaddi exploded. I'm pretty sure he's getting that one twin turbo'd. We're both doing this thing in Utah next month and he's taking the blue car. I am going to hand him his ass at Miller Motorsports Park :icon_mrgr

The GTX1 is really a phenomenal car to drive, despite being a chop job. I drove one extensively in California and it was like a regular GT, just without a roof. Quite the fun.

T-Dizzzzzzzzle! Yeah, that was pump gas.

If I owned a Ford GT, I don't think I could let someone chop the top off....

damn no shit. thats tickin for some pump gas. so how did the white street mustang turn out. did it make any power or did they blow it up again? it shouldn't have now that they got them diamond pistons in there. them mahles are some bullshit.....

They're safe at that level on pump gas.

The white car never blew up. They tried a new coating on the pistons and it didn't adhere correctly, making the clearances incorrect. The only way to learn new things is to try them with R&D. Obviously that didn't work.

Diamond and Mahle are both good pistons. Roxanne's 2V car goes consistent 9.30's and never has issues.
