Which bathroom do I use?

I am a guide to a blind athlete and am in the process of training her to compete in race walks. So if we are on the streets training, and she needs to go to the bathroom, do I take her in the men's bathroom where I can guide her to a stall, or to the women's and she is on her own? (Yeah, I know I should ask her but you guys always have an opinion on bathroom usage)

You could just tell anyone objecting to you in the women's bathroom that it's ok, cuz you think you're feeling a little bit feminine anyway.

I'd say a family or unisex bathroom when possible. If not I'd clear the women's bathroom out and enter that with her since women's bathrooms have a different layout I'd "train" in the layout that will be used. Age will also play a big role here.

31 I'm thinking you should have a discussion with her as what she would prefer. Otherwise maybe talk with the manager of the store and inform him of the situation, I'm sure they would have a female employee guide her in and out of the bathroom. But if your thinking about it then you know she is. So as the professional half of your partnership I would guess it is on you to bring it up.

Just try not say things like "I want to see what you were thinking" or "looking ahead". "Looking good, keep going". Sorry. Those are the things I am carful not to say when I interact with blind customers. When I do slip and say something they are always quick to have a joke ready though.
