Anyone know where I can have a connector depined. By depined, I mean the small connectors/contacts within the actual plug. I tried Radio Shack but they dont have the tool. I was thinking a computer repair place? Im in clinton twp, so if anyone can recommend a place near, please let me know. I hate to drill a big hole in my firewall when i could just feed the wires thru.

Thanks

Usually you can use a 90* pick tool to remove the lock, then a staight pick to un lock the tab. Otherwise Matco,Snap on, Mac have the de-pin multi tools for various connectors.

Depending on what kind of connector it is, you may be able to take a fat paperclip or some mechanics wire and smash it flat with a hammer to de-pin.

2 common Delphi removers are part# 12094429 and 12094430. Those work on most connectors and terminal supply in Troy probably has them.
