Where to find a 41mm socket ?

Need to remove the triple tree nut on my bike and can't find a 41mm socket for a 1/2" drive. The largest socket I have is a 32mm - doh!

Anyone know where to find a 41mm that isn't 3/4" or 1" drive? Or better yet, borrow one from someone on the eastside? I'd leave a cash deposit, no worries.

Thx.

I have a 3/4 to 1/2 adapter that I picked up at Kitt's in Farmington. Would that help you? Then you can use the 1/2" ratchet.

If harbor freight doesn't have what you need, Wholesale Tool on Stephens, just east of Hoover will likely have what you need.

What kind of bike?

Appreciate the offer.

Hmmm, that might work.

I have a 1/2 to 3/4 drive and a 1-5/8 socket if you want to use those.

Thanks.

Appreciate the help gang, think I'll try using a 1/2" to 3/4" adapter for the job.

Thought of another question though - If I use that adapter to re-tighten the triple tree nut with my torque wrench, will the reading be off by a large amount due to all of the play or "slop" in between the pieces (iet - ratchet, adapter, socket)?

Thx.

Nope, won't hurt the torque reading.
