Where to Buy a SA2000 or Better Helmet

Hey guys, I am planning on going racing this weekend and am in need of a helmet. Where can I get a good deal on an SA2000 or better helmet?

Not SA rated helmets, only M rated. Very few spots carry SA helmets (and you should really try them on before you buy).

Your gonna want a SA2005 helmet. The Snell rating changes every 5 years. Many sanctioning bodies like the SCCA will require a helmet be less than 10 years old and they look for the Snell decal. If you get an SA2000 helmet, it may only be good for a year. Stay away from K & M rated helmets.

I have an old Bell M2 I bought in '95. A great helmet. I think it's now an M4. A full face helmet so your teeth don't bite the steering wheel.

I bought mine from racerwholesale.com. They sell the G-Force brand. I have been very happy with the helmet. I also bought another G-Force from Summit and had it the next day. The helmet manufactures have instructions for measuring your head on their sites. That's what I did. It's a bit of a leap of faith, but it worked for me.
