Where can I find the best deal on a VERY LARGE piece of fabric???

Crazzy_Al

Mr. Hair Gel Overgeller
I am asking because I want to finish the last interior wall in my garage with a 7.5'x25' piece of material. (probably black or grey)

I am too lazy to rip down, redrywall, and paint that wall in my garage. (those of you who have been to my parties know the famous wall used for taking out my aggression and anger)

I want that wall covered/fixed before my next party in October. I mean, I could just redywall and paint it since I now have a heavy bag to beat on, but fabric would be much faster and easier. :D

Yeah, my friends said the same thing...I've had the house 2 years now and that wall still isn't finished...

I say indoor outdoor carpet. That Green shit that looks like grass. Just staple gun it to the drywall. It will look like a Chia Pet :D

I didn't say I was gonna do it, I said I would help. You just find a time we can agree on and I'll help.

I have a bigass roll (it's 3 feet in diameter, i'm guessin close to 100') of grayish fabric, almost like a felt backed vinyl you'd see for a headliner of a car. cept it's only about 30" wide, and sewing that together to make a piece that wide would 1) look goofy unless you want the seams, 2) take a hell of a lot longer than drywall, and 3) still show holes in the drywall depending on how you attach it.

Astroturf? Unless I am going to be playing some football on my wall, I don't see me installing that shit.

100' huh? If it's thin I could double it up at that length. How much do you want for it, and where are you located?

As a matter of fact, yes, I would like that very much. Call me before you start working on it so that I can get the cars out of the garage and open the garage for you. The matching paint is at the end of the shelves (closest to the back wall of the garage) and on the side where I park my truck. The spray gun should be on the same shelf. Be sure to mix the paint really well before you apply it...it's been sitting for a while now.

By the way, I also need to to pick up the drywall tape and mud while you're getting the drywall.

So here's the list of what I need for you to get...

4 sheets of 4'x10' drywall
1 sheet of 4'x8' drywall
Drywall tape
Drywal mud
and some sand paper

Please make the seems as smooth as physically possible. I want to make sure it looks perfect.

Come in my house and get me when you guys are done. Thanks, man, you're a huge help!!!

Located in Goodrich....Right now commuting from Goodrich to Ann Arbor, but that's probably bit further west than you roll. I'll snap some pics of it tonight, send them to ya, and get a better estimate of how much is there. price, lemme think about it.

I'm with Cory and Nick also, you've made a few posts about this and we've offered to help but you, King of making excuses not to do it or not to come out, is no longer our fault. Go out and buy fabric and any local fabric place, it's not that hard.

You don't need to rip down the whole drywall down you idiot... Unless it's been water damaged...
