Wheel/stud fitment ?'s

On my Fairmont project, 8.8 rear, 35 spline Strange axles, the guy that put the rear end in the car put a 5/8 wheel studs on it. I have a set of brand new Summit wheels with no tires on them yet, I tried to fit them today and the wheel goes on up to where the solid part of the drive stud is and won't go on any further. Do I need to use a round file and clean up the stud holes on the wheels or the drive studs?
Also, these wheels take a conical style lug nut, does anyone make a 5/8 open ended lug nut to work with these wheels?

These are the wheels

Here are the studs so you get the idea.

Thanks for any help in advance

^^^ what he said. Even all my Weld rims (Pro Magnums) I had to put a reamer through each stud hole to make them fit smooth.

Thanks guys, at least this confirmed what I already suspected.
Anyone looking for some nice, new wheels for a street mustang?
