Just snap shots at car show n stuff and vacationing
I read alot of good thing about the canon SD 1400 IS
Would like other opinions and what do you guys use?
Alot of car pics are really awesome and I'm sure alot of those pics are taken with more expensive cameras.
I've had fantastic results with every Canon A-series camera I've had over the last ten years. One of which was an old 4-megapixel version (A85) that would turn out pics better than a lot of 10+MP cameras still coming out today. It finally died after 7 years of getting kicked around the track at Grand-Am races.
For a point and shoot, you can't go wrong with Canon's SD / "digital ELPH" series...any of them will fit the bill, can find them for $150 or less at most places.
I agree on the canon SD series. I've had mine for a while now and its been through a lot of abuse and still rocks.
Odds are if this one ever fails i'll get another SD series unless i find a waterproof camera that i like.
