What's it worth: stock TBI 305 & 700R4 trans

I am going to do an engine swap on my 88 Firebird and really have no use for the stock engine and trans. It is a 93k original mile car and I believe 100% stock. It runs and drives fine, its just slow. Anybody have any idea of what I could get for the engine and trans either together or separated?

I was lucky to get $500 for the 305 from my 93 caprice when I wrecked it ... 60k engine ... every one wants LS power

Yeah I’ve never seen a 305 go for more then $300, whole combo might pull $500.

Well, $500 would be a bit disappointing for the combo but I was only guessing around $750 so I'm not too far off. If anybody knows anybody that would be interested, please let me know. They will only have the opportunity to check it out while it is still in the car for another week or two.

yeah it sucks, post it up for $750 and see what happens. I’ve seen crazier things happen lol. Take a video and a lot of picks in the car. Being that it’s complete it might help.
