what would you pay for this stang.

Ok. thinking about buying this stang. its a 87 5.0 GT 5speed only 30k miles all orginal has not been on the road since 1991 never seen rain snow. one onwer i know the guy personealy old man now bouth car new.

he has supercharged the motor in 1990 and was together for about 10k miles then he took it to the ford dealer to get his new biger oil pan put on and the mechanic tryed to steal the motor he ended up reclaiming the motor a few days later but is now missing headers exuast trans cross member and little stuff like belts and hoses. will also need clutch and that stuff too. let me know guys. thanks kyle
 
Lot of details missing. Does he still have the S/C? , What kind of shape is the body in?, How much? etc.

I have never known anyone to take a modded car to the dealership for an oil pan.

ok the body is in top great shap not even a door ding or one chip in the paint , the intiour of the car is mint ghe guy always used seat covers and windows are tinted with two layers of 5% no cracks or anything wrong not even a mark in the arm rest. the car still has the supercharge and has a piggy back computer system for the supercharge the car was ran with the supercharger for 10k miles but the motor and trans are out of the car

Car and motor look like they just rolled off the assembley line in 1987. the headlights are even not even discolored or hazzy.

Car has had SFC's since before the motor was put in the car and the rear end is all built.

Keep in mind the car was built in 1989 and most of the parts are all hand made stuff. or technology for 1989.

thats kook that what i was thinking i was going to start in the 3500 range and go from thre but was thinking not much more than 5k. any more adivice? keep it comming

Yes verry true. this is the only ford i would buy just because of the history of the car and it really clean.

And if i can get it for under 5k ill have a really nice car. and i cant find a cleaner car for anything like that that is not some big piece of raged out piece. and will not own a crappy z28 LT1 camaro.

SHIIIIIT! That cars worth about $6,000 just cause it has a S/C on it. I bought my stang from the original owner almost 4 years ago with 31,800 original miles on it. 5.0 5-speed car got it for $5,300 being all stock....I have already been offered at lowest selling price $7,500 for it. I have been told I can get as much as $13,500 for it as it sits right now. Do what you wish.....If you don't buy it tell me where it is and i'll come pick it up. Hell the supercharger alone is worth the extra 500-1000 bucks....They cost that used usually.:badass: :wink:
