For you Ford guys....Ok I picked up some AFR 185 heads for my dads 302, and need some hardened pushrods and also set of Hydralic lifters (already have the Comp Hydraulic flat tappet cam).

What ones will I need and where is the best place to get them?

Thanks in advance

You need 2 items. A length checking pusord and a Geomtry checking tool. Get those to items and I will try to guide you through the process.

I can do that but I was thinking with Stock Block untouched AFR Heads someone would know forsure what length off hand

Difficult to say. I have seen AFR deck hieghts vary by 0.050 on SBC stuff so given that alone could houch the pooch. also the rocker arm your using could screw it up as well as the camshafts base circle.
