Just curious to see what everyone like to spray and why.

I'll start - One of my favorites is Spies Hecker, they have a great product.

Glasurit/RM is a great product but it's obviously expensive so not many people spray it :handshake:

I worked for PPG for almost ten years so I do like it alot.. however we use BASF products and they work quite well... I have been really happy with everything from them...

I've only sprayed Nason and Dupont. bc/cc and single stage urethane. I have had no problems with either, so I have had no reason to try others. Everything has come out with a high gloss, I have no complaints.

So far I like the PPG Envirobase (waterborn) paint we have been using at work.:1syellow1

how is the water born, i hear in about 2012 all the base coat, clear coat stuff is goin to be fazed out by EPA, but thats what i hear

ive been using shopline at school, works good for what where doin... but i know theres alot better than that, just havent had enough spray time to use different.

Alot of what I do at home is Shopline to keep prices down on the DD type work, I think its a pretty decent product for the price really.

JOE!!!! glad to see you on here

Duplicolor, in all seriousness though, i painted a jeep with it once, and it turned out damn good. the paint would flake where it wasnt prepped well enough but it held up great everywhere else, and was dirt cheap

I like Dupont stuff. Centari is impossible to mess up and Imron is beautiful. Every time I've tried PPG I've regretted it, but I'm sure it's operator error.
