is it just my eyes or does the rear bumper look slightly tweaked? not being a critic just wondering. Awesome work tho!

It does look a little off. Could just be adjustment tho customer did most of the tear down and reassembly.

Thanks Rob!

Are you ever available to come take a look at a car for a rough idea of how much time, work, and cost it would be to paint?

I could be available for that. Would be a little while tho I have plans every weekend from now untill the 3rd weekend of September.

Not a problem. There's no real rush. I need to fit some new body panels on the car, stretch the wheel wells, and cut the front fenders for the collectors. This won't even get started till it snows lol. I just want someone to look at it the way it sits now. I am definitely interested in having you look at it and your opinion of it, as far as how big of a project it will be for you. I'll make sure to ask you again at the end of August lol. Thanks!

Nice work. I've always wanted to do a job in single stage black, but what is that like to rub out after wetsanding??? I've done 2 yellows, red and white and it buffs decent, but sometimes it's hard to get the scratches out. And it's hard to keep the scartches out of it while washing. Of course, I've done bc/cc black and it seems it rubs right out without having to fight off those superficial scratches. This make sense? Give me your take....

As far as the wetsand and buff I did my final sand with 2000 and it buffed real nice, seemed to help if I let it sit for a few days first. On the washing side I'm not sure yet. Once the job is completed we will find out. I offered this on this particular job because I know the owner will keep particuarly good care of the paint on this one.

Yeah that was Joeys old truck, from Imlay City. That truck was BEAT. Cant remember how many times that thing was crashed. Never looked at the frame but heard it was done poorly when the chopped it down. I am surprised that thing still actually runs  Looks pretty good now without that horrible green, saw it out at the gas station on PH cruise night.
