What is this Mustang worth??

This is my buddies car and he's unsure of what its worth.

The car is a 99 GT, 5-speed, 135k. We replaced the IM gaskets and now there is a horrible tick coming from the engine. I think something had to of got in one of the intake ports while we had it apart. The car does run but it doesnt sound good. Its been sitting outside for about a year or two now. The body is pretty rough. The roof has some dents in it from a branch falling on it.

The interior is black leather and is actually pretty mint for its age and mileage. The car has always sat with the windshield sun shield and the 5% tint has helped with keeping the interior nice.

Only mods are o/r h pipe, flowmasters and newer king cobra clutch.

2-3k realistically

I must of mis read it, I would probably give 2k if it was fairly nice on the outside and inside but if the motor was making some type of death noise, I would pay no where near premium for it.

There was a 98 on cl that just sold for 1200 with a knock.....Ive got a feeling that engine noise would scare alot of people off
from paying what it actually is worth

Realistically depending on the actual roof damage I'd say 2k.
