What do you guys think about this? (wheels)

Been tossing around the idea of getting some different summer wheels for my car. I don't really don't want to spend a ton of money, so I was looking around for some stock wheels from other cars that would fit. I found out that Evolution wheels fit on the MS3 without issues, so I was wondering what you guys thought of this combo?

These wheels:

I like the reduction in spokes, plus I believe they're a little wider. I could probably pick up a set for pretty cheap, considering most Evo guys buy a different set of wheels anyway.

Truthfully, I like your stockers and winter wheels better than the Evo wheels. The Evo wheels are just....so.....plain. At least in that silver. They could look pretty cool powder coated gunmetal on that white car.

I like them too, but they are really heavy, are too wide (they stick out past the fender a little...slightly wrong offset), and the finish is really bad (it looks better in that picture than in real life).

What about this setup:

Those are Rx8 wheels...direct bolt-on replacement. I like this look a lot, too, and a lot of people have done it so I know it will work 100%

I'd have to see a photoshop of the Enkeis in order to know whether or not I liked them. I wonder how they would look if they were white. I've always been a fan of white rims on the right car.

18x8, pretty standard size...maybe a half inch wider than stock. I got them (with good tires) for an amazing price...way cheaper than even a set of Rx8 wheels, and about half the price of a set of new wheels (minus tires). They're not the best quality, but I've had them before (different style, same manufacturer) and didn't have any issues. I just don't keep cars long enough to warrant a $1000-$2000+ investment in wheels.

wOOt
