what causes this???

took a pic and you can see me fine, but my buddy is like a ghost!!

i mean he was alive when the pic was taken...but heres the craziest thing. this pic was taken late sat night, and last night i had a dream and he died in the dream, and i just read that "supposedly" when a pic turns out like that the person that is "ghosted" is gonna die....that would really suck if that happend
 
Well, you can tell it was a low light room, so clearly from this photo it looks as though flash was used. You shutter speed could have been slower than what your flash fired at. So your flash fired, your friend moved, but your camera wasnt done taking the pic after your flash went off and your friend left the picture. So, the camera recorded yoru friend when the flash went off, and then since he moved, and the cam was still taking the pic it also recorded the wall behind him and meshed the two...

At least thats what could have happend...

I take pics of my friends like that often with my DLSR...haha
 
yup, just a coincidence. your little tiny camera has a little tiny flash. it doesnt light up much. light, or in this case, a flash will freeze movement. your buddy just didnt get lit up like the other person in the shot. so it will emphasize any movement.
 
ohh ok. thats pretty sweet. i kept thinking of back to the future when the people kept dissapearing from the pic...hahah. my facial expression compliments the picture well..its like i was trying my hardest to not look at him
