95 mustang gt , used the KOEO-KOER method i found on the internet .,. when i do the KOEO the fan cycles then the codes start reading ,., when i do the KOER the engine revs to 1500rpm then to like 1750ish then the rpm goes to ise then it reads the codes , anyways heres a video i made , maybe one of you can desipher the codes for me , ive searched google but cant find a list of codes

ok guys so ive got 1 code i guess , code 636 TOT sensor voltage out of self test range .... what would cause this and how to i fix it ? ...... also it seems that none of these codes are causing my problem of a sluggish take off and when i make the CEL light come on the car runs way better

transmission operating temperature.
Drop pan
Replace temp sensor.
It cheap, under 20 bucks.
Reuse the pan gasket
replace the filter.
Check the case connector first, look for damaged corroded pins, fluid inside the plug. Bad wires leading to the plug (not secured properly/rubbing

is it a big deal ? going to cause any problems ? ............ just took the car for a drive and got some gas , and rechecked the codes car now has a

212 Loss of IDM input to PCM - Spout grounded

ive read anything from a bad spout conector to a 22kohm resistor being bad in the harness someware , posibly i got the wrong TFI module ( car had a black one and the new one is not grey ) , car posibly needs another new PIP sensor ( i replaced the whole dizzy with a new REMAN unit ) .... any ideas ?

whats the exact name of the TOT , ive searched oreillys , auto zone and advanced auto parts websites and cant find anything temp sensor related to the trans

well i think i have it figured out ( i hope ) , the ICM that was originaly in the car that went bad was black motorcraft , the new one i bought was grey and a master pro , i didnt think anything of it at the time just thinking that its from a diffrent company so no big deal WRONG !!! lol , heres a pic i found at stangnet , notice the #4 pins are diffrent in the 1st pic and the 3rd , i just hope o reillys will fix there fuck up so im not to much more out of pocket

636- trans has to be up to temp before you do the koer koeo tests

That is correct. I never looked up the code or the diagnostic procedure, I just saw tot.
I forgot, your not working with a scan tool that you can read the voltage on the temp sensor.
You probably ran the test without the transmission up to temperature.

yes the trans was not up to temp when i did the test the 1st time , but it was the second time i did the test when i got my 212 code , but what ive read from the 636 code is that the sensor rarely ever goes bad , its usually the conector on the top of the trans that gets all nasty and loses conection , ill clean it today and reseat it and see what happens ,., on my way to o reillys to see if they will fix there fuck up with my TFI module

o reillys fixed the mess up , got the correct TFI in the car now , got rid of my 212 code and my 636 code but now code 637 popped up

only codes i have now are

111 system normal
637 only on KOEO and not on KOER
311 KEOR on because no smog
314 KEOR on because no smog

car still has no power thow .,. any ideas , im totally lost

im checking my balancer here in a min , im starting to think that maybe it spun and my timing is off , ive got it set to 10* right now but if the balancer spun who knows what its realy at , car does have a slight vibration that i never thought of because the muffs are dumpped before the rear end , i just thought it was exhaust drone , ill post my findings

i checked the balancer , i dont see the balancer itself moving but i did notice the crank pulley is moving very little , i dont see or feel any rubber behind the balancer either , posible its still bad ?
