What about Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3?

its a good handling tire. I think the only beef I have heard about with that tire is longevity. I think it has a fiarly low treadwear rating.

A good handling tire. Amazing traction in wet conditions. As stated above, the tires longevity isn't that great and I hear they get pretty noisy near the end of their tread life. What size were you looking at getting?

245/50/16. I would like 255 but it looks like they don't come in that size.

I don't put a whole lot of miles on the car anyways. Maybe 3-6K a year.

BFG sells the G-Force sport in both sizes and its not a bad tire, especially for the price. But if mileage isnt really a concern I would just go with the GSD3.

Read reviews on tirerack. Those are people who have had it:) I actually do this. Compare it to others reviews + the tire specs themselves.

Greg D from PFE runs these all the way around on his LS1 3rd gen for both street and road course duty. He has said he's happy with them and that they are excellent in the wet. Alot of autocross and road race guys like these. I think they would be a good front tire and they look cool as hell.

I run a Falken Azenis RT-615 as a front tire on the street and like them alot. Really cool tread pattern too. Softer than your average street tire but not too soft. They have a treadwear rating of 200 I believe. And before that I ran nitto 555r-II's up front, very soft and grippy, treadwear 100, dragradial compound but stiff sidewall.

If you want silly grip the yokohama Avid tire in the autocross compound is a really sticky tire.

I had GSD3s and they were just as good as my mich pilot sports. Great tire, but like stated before, really soft and quick to wear.
