If you dont want to go MSD any Ford reman distributor for 351 should work like for 1979 Bronco. As far as gear always check with cam manufacter because I was told always to use a bronze gear with a solid roller however my current cam is solid roller and comp told me to leave the gear that came on the new MSD distributor for my BB. I used the MSD billet part no 85840 which includes steel gear for hydraulic roller cam for my windsor.
Yup, what he said. I'd personally go with a factory rebuilt 351 dizzy, no sense in spending the extra money for a MSD piece. I'm actually pretty unhappy with MSD, although replacing failed MSD parts does pay the bills
What year 351 ? If It Is a non roller 351....go with a 84-85 bronco 5.8 H.O carbed vehicle and you will be fine. I have one In my 89 351 and It worked great.
