very true... it is indeed cheaper to start with less wieght then to add hp...but its never as much fun!! haha

but i do think to start out at 300 whp and weight about 1300lbs is a good start :P i can add alil power later as these motors become more popular and guys figure out how to make power cheaper with them... and once i save money up for a high dollar trans to hold it..lol

ive gotta say tho im hooked!!! i went up this weekend and got to be good friends with a guy with a twin turboed LS1 763 hp and weights 1780lbs..:sagrin: with 22inchs of travel.. im still fuck speachless ive never been in anything that pulled like that from .. and from a roll.. and in sand to top it off

if i could only sell my nitrous motor id be puttin one in the camaro for sure
soooo anyone wanna buy a nitrous sbc??..hasnt even been sprayed yet only a few street breakin miles...like 10miles maybe..lol

yep..got a few updates...been workin with CBM out in cali to build me a computer and harness..well its takin them 1 1/2 years..but they final got it up and running..they have had it runnin for awhile ..but couldnt get past the security system..and was workin with hp tuners to re wright there software..but didnt have much luck..so they went another route...and on a down side..i wont be able to tune it with my hp tuners like i was going to be able to...butttt there just going to do a full race tune..which ends up being 400+ hp... which is amazing to me!!

the down side again is the transmission!! now im forced to go aftermarket...and i just bit the bullet on a MENDEOLA 2D ..with is $7000 !!!!! ughhh kills me i had to spend that on a fucking trans. the things i could have done with that money..and the HP i could have made..haha in the rail..or camaro or the truck would have been sick but noooo a stuip trans..lol but im excited at the same time i guess..soo as soon as i get it il post some pics..atleast now i can drive it the way i want to and not be worried as much...:)

well honestly im not to worried..its limitied by the turbo..not the interals..from what ive seen your good on stock interals till about 500hp..but the stock turbo is good for 400s..givin its tuned properly ofcourse!! they guys that are tuning it are also some of the best in the country for tuning for this kinda of application...sooo im crossin my fingers


also this isnt going to be a daily driver...LOL its an offroad beat the piss out of it toy..so 1000 miles could be 2 years..or more and considering i bought a brand new motor for $1800..in a few seasons if the motor lets go..im sure be down to 1000 or 1200..and i cant really bitch about that for gettin ls1 power that weights 250lbs
