The back story is, this is my bosses phone. He got it wet literally about a week after he bought it. It quit working, the company bought him another one so he never even bothered with it.
It does power up sometimes. The apple icon will me up and it says to plug it into iTunes. Other times, it doesn't do anything at all. I swapped out the battery and that didnt fix it. When it's working the screen looks fine. If I had to speculate I'd say the contacts just need to be cleaned. But I'm not putting money into it to diagnose it, nor can I guarantee that. The pod drop says they can fix them.
