Watch the chick rock. Talent!

She can go through the motions of playing, but to be great you have to feel the music and become part of it. Do you see any of that in her playing? Or just notes being played in the correct order and sequence?

NOT GREAT

I would cut her some slack. She is only like 16. She needs a Skwisgaar Skwigelf insurance policy on her hands.

He's right there's no emotions in the playing itself but I'll give her some credit where it's due because there's plenty of talent there, especially at this age. On top of that she does have decent looks which could make her marketable. But still, fast shredding of scales don't really do anything for me. Pull up SRV, Hendrix, Mayer, or even Santana and watch the feeling they put into each song with bends and varying tempo scales. Gotta feel the rhythm and push for the dynamics of the song. Alright, maybe it's a little unfair to be compared to some of the elite's of guitar but oh well

I think it's awesome she can even play, however I prefer this chick, she's amazing!

I agree, So much of that "emotion" is added in for the viewer. She's playing cool like a billiard player.... thinking 3 riffs ahead. Pretty amazing.

Ive been playing guitar seriously for just over 10 years now, and what the first girl did was very impressive. She picks most of her notes instead of slurring them or playing legato style. She messed up in a few spots, but no big deal, you guys said she was like 15-16 years old. The second girl is also talented, but what she was doing only takes a fraction of talent compared to the first girl. Also SRV FTW!!!! :notworthy

Ok this is one of the better guitar performances ever.

Me I like to personally I like emotion. Now when I play guitar it depends on the mood. The video I recorded and posted on here was me just messing around. But I am not that good of a guitar player. I wish I could have a little more soul to the way I play. As for the girl she did a very good job. The only thing that I do not like is why all guitar players are playing nothing but sweeps and arpeggios. They get extremely annoying, don't get me wrong they are hard to do and take skill. But I like the guitar players that go back to like a southern rock bluesy type guitar playing.
